I Never Will Know

This morning I rediscovered a recording of “I Never Will Know” (Tinita Tikaram + Mark Isham) on one of my hard drives.

I also rediscovered a bunch of tracks one of my old friends (his name is Mark Grimes) gave me, one in a folder named “either”, the other in one named “or”. What are the titles? I (maybe) never will know … lost ’em. I still like to listen to them, though.

Now Tinita + Mark are plying “Blue Moon” … and I’m reminded of how wonderful these artists are. How crappy youtube is. Like night and day.

And that reminds of my post on Wants this morning: “I look at the world around me in the way that I do and (at least for now) I want to record it in this old, vintage way” [ https://wants.blog/2026/04/15/i-look-at-the-world-around-me-in-the-way-that-i-do-and-at-least-for-now-i-want-to-record-it-in-this-old-vintage-way ]

Your Cash Ain’t Nothin’ But Trash

I reminded myself of this song today when I posted “Nothing is Certain but Death and Taxes” [ https://socio.business.blog/2024/06/22/nothing-is-certain-but-death-and-taxes ]

The song is by The Clovers and has been covered many times. It has also been reviewed by none other than Bob Dylan during an episode of his “Theme Time Radio Hour”
